The 2008 Strolling Supper with Blues & News was a triumphant evening for lung cancer, raising funds and awareness to battle the nation’s leading cancer killer

A highlight of the evening was the silent auction, offering the opportunity to win luxury goods, fantastic vacations and “once-in-a-lifetime” experiences.  Lots included character-naming in James Patterson’s next bestseller; a tour of The Office and lunch with Steve Carell; impossible-to-get table reservations at Rao’s in New York; a guitar autographed by Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus; a guaranteed spot at the starting line of the 2009 NYC Marathon; four viewing passes to the 2008 Macy’s Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade; fabulous Seaman Schepps and Amrita Singh jewelry; fabulous vacation and sports packages; and much more.  With the support and generosity of bidders both near and far, the 94 lots raised almost $90,000.
